In the historic villages of Quebec, houses have a usual characteristic: they are located very close to the street. To preserve the privacy of its occupants, the homeowner has opted for stained glass as window treatment for this large window. Four panels with a continuous pattern of floral bouquets have been built.
These panels are mounted on two rails. This makes it easy to drag them sideways to open the windows for ventilation purposes, for security monitoring or to maximize the natural light supply. The background tiles are made of rough rolled glass to diffuse properly the view inside of the home during in the evening.
It is a wise investment by its elegance and its functionality.
